Phone line disruption


Due to the power outage on November 22nd, the phone system has been negatively impacted. We are working diligently to get the phone system back up and running.

RVHC Technical Difficulties


Again we would like to apologize for the ongoing disruption of services. Unfortunately, the incident is beyond our control and has also affected other parties. We regret to inform you that the underlying cause was a cyber security incident that resulted in our IT systems being rendered inoperable and has also affected our phone service. Upon discovering that the incident had occurred, our IT team took immediate steps to isolate and secure our systems. We have engaged with third-party cyber security experts to thoroughly investigate the matter and to have our systems operational as soon as possible. Based on the investigation to date, there is no indication that your personal information or privacy has been accessed or compromised. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in working through this issue.

In the meantime:
  • Majority of physicians will see already scheduled in-person appointments
  • Our phone lines remain open; however, you may experience delays due to a greater than normal volume of calls. It is not currently possible to leave a message
  • Pre-booked virtual phone appointments are cancelled because we can’t currently access the schedules; please watch for updates on our website and reschedule your appointment when we are back online by calling or booking through our Medeo Online service
  • Our current lack of access to patients’ Electronic Health Records could cause delays
  • We have instructed local pharmacies to provide our patients with emergency supplies of their prescriptions, if required
  • Please be aware we may not be able to accommodate all urgent requests for appointments; you may be directed to visit another walk-in clinic or hospital Emergency Department

We are trying to make the screening process faster at our clinic by requesting patients/visitors to do self-screening and showing the staff at clinic upon arrival. You will have to either have printed, or have downloaded, the COVID-19 Customer Screening result from the following website: Ontario Public Health COVID-19 Customer Screening Please follow the instructions on this website and bring the results to your visit. Please help us all stay safe and healthy.
